Founded in 1982, Hi-Tech Gears quickly earned a reputation as a quality gear manufacturer by producing precision gears for a wide variety of industries.
In 2017, Hi-Tech Gears was purchased by a group of Michigan investors lead by Pat Crosson, a seasoned entrepreneur. Under the new ownership, Hi-Tech Gears is focused on exceptional customer service and manufacturing of high-quality, small batch gear runs.
The shop was relocated to Farmington, Michigan in 2019 to accommodate adding state-of-the art equipment that added more capacity for emergency gear production
Today, Hi-Tech Gears specializes on small quanity gear orders with short lead times and no surcharges for gears manufactured in two to three weeks, and emergency or expedited gears manufactured in less than eight days.
